The Full-time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) has changed my life dramatically. Before coming in the fall of 2000, I'd been a Christian already for six years, having met with the local church for five of them. Needless to say, my personal history with the Lord had (therefore) been marvelous. Nevertheless, my last year was full of mixture, having been contaminated by various evil things of the world, as well as spoiled by some personal failures.

My first term alone purged me from all of this. The resurrection life of Christ (Philippians 3:10) was infused into me morning by morning, recovering my appetite for the Word. Thus my Christian life once again became “healthy” because of the “healthy teaching” (1Timothy 1:10; 4:6) of Witness Lee's ministry, which I was under in an intensified way.

If my first term “recovered” me, then my second term “revived” me; and if my first term could be characterized by the Spirit of life (Romans 8:2) being flooded into me, then my second term was undoubtedly characterized by life flowing out of me. Although I had some enjoyable experience at preaching the gospel prior to my coming to the Training, I had for a long time buried this “talent” of mine (Matthew 25:25), lapsing into a period of muffled lethargy. What a miracle that my five-year introspection was finally overcome!

My experience of Christ reached its zenith during my third term. Herein I not only received the infusion of the divine life and nature every morning (John 10:10, 2 Peter 1:4), which issued in the overflow of the unsearchable riches of Christ (Ephesians 3:8) each afternoon, but I was further able to “bear fruit” to glorify the Father (John 15:8); that is, I, with the church, shepherded a new believer during our Friday night fellowship. Living a life of fruitbearing has been the most solid experience so far.

In my fourth term I can only praise the Lord for having had the opportunity to “receive the bountiful supply of the Spirit” by the “hearing of faith” (Galatians 2:5) for two years. Bring revived in the gospel, and my function in bearing fruit, has laid a life-long foundation which I will be grateful for even in eternity!
